A still photograph is an opportunity to capture a moment in time.
I began this journey as a photojournalist where I was tasked to make a strong image from a variety of situations. When I have a camera in hand I’m looking for one photograph that I'll be proud of. When I’m shooting for myself I like to go into Nashville and photograph people on on Lower Broadway and inside the Honky Tonks in Music City. During these adventures I’m attempting to capture the excitement, the talented performers and the tourists that are here to have a good time.
I’m experienced in all types of photography and can take on any project.
MY BACKGROUND:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from Texas A&M/Commerce.
· Photojournalist for newspapers in TX, LA, and TN
· Visuals Director at The Tennessean from 1996-2014.
· Experience in digital photography, videography and creating multimedia.
· Experience covering the news, music festivals sports including the NFL, NHL, SEC, and the Olympics in 2000 in Sydney.
